A trellis is a device that resembles a lattice in shape and serves as a support point for plants: raspberries, grapes, etc. But, like any good invention, it perfectly combines beauty and functionality, which makes it indispensable when decorating the site.

Tapestries are wooden, metal or plastic. You can choose the material that suits you. And this allows you to use the design for decorating summer cottages of various styles: classic, modern, etc.

The first mention of a trellis for grapes, as a decorative element, can be traced back several centuries. She managed to maintain her popularity for a long time and even now she is recognized as an undeniable element of any well-groomed garden.

The design came to Russia from Europe, where it was used to decorate the garden space. Rose trellises were especially popular. Today, when vertical, climbing plants are back in fashion, trellises are again experiencing the peak of demand and popularity.

An important point is that the reliability and stability of the structure directly depends on the scale of the cells. The larger the scale, the less reliable and stable the entire structure will be. And small cells will create a powerful, reliable and safe structure.

In an effort to save on materials or in the desire to adapt unnecessary trash, we often find interesting solutions. We share with them on the Internet and they are gaining popularity. For example, tapestries made of plastic pipes and the remains of reinforcing structures have now become popular.

This technique is suitable for creating a heavy-duty frame. It is able to withstand even a large number of ripe grapes.

To create a design you need:

• Armature 300 cm long, 1 cm in diameter, made of iron.
• Plastic pipe with a length of about 60 cm and a width of 1.3 cm.
• Metal clamps with screw.
• Tool for working on metal.

The most important step is correct measurements and, based on them, accurate calculations. If you make a mistake here, then the design may not work out or its appearance, stability, etc. will suffer. The above materials are enough for a trellis 250-300 cm wide. The length will vary depending on the number of plastic pipes.

Stages of creating a trellis step by step:

• the reinforcement is divided in half, each should be 150 cm long;
• 150 cm of reinforcement are placed in the corners of the future structure, they should go into the ground by 40-60 cm;
• through each meter it is necessary to drive additional supports into the ground;
• pipes are put on top of all protruding supports, which forms the basis for the structure;
• further, with the help of clamps, a longitudinal row is created, the distance between them should be about 70 cm.

The result is a very strong, and most importantly, safe design. It is able to withstand even particularly powerful vines.

And most importantly, the materials for its manufacture often remain after summer repairs, and the service life is much higher than that of structures made from natural materials. Since plastic does not rot, it is not afraid of moisture, dirt or temperature changes.
